Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers that aid to regulate, either directly or indirectly, most other systems and functions in the body. They are considered the brain's chemical messengers, and the interaction between neurotransmitters,hormones, and the brain chemicals will have profound effect on the overall health of a person. There are several well known neurotransmitter including serotonin, dopamine, norephnephrine and epinephrine ( adrenaline).
