Not what you're looking for?
Suppose a factory manager wishes to buy machines to perform a certain task in a production process. Certain key parts are produced by these machines. There are three companies that make such machines and, furthermore, he obtains one from each company for testing which of the three is best suited for this purpose. Each machine is operated by one person and there are many people who would be using these machines. In other words, if the factory has fifty workers doing this task, then he needs fifty machines. Design an experiment to test how the manager can pick the best one given that he only has one from each company to test.
