The four schedules of intermittent reinforcement include; Fixed-Ratio (FR), Fixed-Interval (FI), Variable-Ratio (VR), and Variable-Interval (VI).

Fixed-Ratio- This is when reinforcement is given after a fixed number of correct responses. For example if you are working with a fixed ration interval of 3 (it can be denoted as FR3) you would only deliver a reinfocer after 3 correct responses. For example if you were working in the discrete trial setting, and asking a child to match the color red the ABC chart (Antecedent, Behavior, Consequence) would go as follows.
