Choose a life stage —childhood, adolescence, adulthood, or aging—and write a short, hypothetical case study that shows a couple or family presenting with a sexual concern relevant to one of these life stages. Consider dimensions of diversity such as gender, race or ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and disability, when developing your case.

Consider how the healthy sexual development framework from the article by McKee et al. (2010) might apply to clients of all ages. In your discussion, identify which tasks from the McKee model might be relevant to the presenting problem in your case study. Next, a phase takes place in which there is the experience of a climax or orgasm. Finally, according to Masters and Johnson, there is the resolution that consists of a drop in arousal accomplished by a desire.
