First of all, myths are not facts. Facts are verifiable events, for instance, when it is raining outside you can say "it is raining outside" as a matter of fact, or if you are reporting the fact later, you would say that it rained yesterday, at a certain place. However, if you say that the rain was sent by say Santa Claus, or that Santa is the one who makes rains, then you are going into the area of myths. Also, if you say that water is made up of oxygen and hydrogen, you would be right, scientifically, but if you say that only God knows what water is made of, you're in the area of myths.
