1. Compare the secular and religious types of terrorism, and describe the following for each:
A brief historical review.

Secular types of so-called terrorism are those that emanate from nationalistic groups, anarchists, liberation movements, and other non-religious causes. These types of so-called terrorism were and are placated upon many different variables such as opposition to state policies, hatred of migrants or minorities, and a desire to overthrow the current system through violence. Regardless of their viewpoints, these groups have a purpose wherein they only use violence as a form of expression to gain attention for their cause and are not focused exclusively upon violence as the primary form of their cause. A secular group of so-called terrorists were responsible for the assassination of Arch Duke Ferdinand, which directly led to the First World War. The Black Hand was a Bosnian Serb group that was opposed to the brutal rule of Austrian Hungary, and decided to engage in freedom fighting tactics to elicit ...
