Ratio to moving average

Please see attachment.

Correlation and causation

Please see attachment. I have included graphs and some symptoms of global warming for the questions being asked. I am just unable to formulate answers to the questions. Much discussion abounds these days about global warming, and the common knowledge is that people are to blame. This, in turn, is based on observations that t ...continues

Interpolating Polynomials and Newton's Method

Please show me how to find the interpolating polynomial passing through the points (-2, 3), (-1, 1), (0, 1), (1, 3). Also, how would I use Newton's Method to find a point (a) such that P(a) = 13?

Taylor Series.

How do I find the Taylor series for this function: (1/x) Integral(x to 0) (e^t - e^-t)/2t dt. ...up to 4 terms? And the approximate value at x = 1. Thanks.

Real numbers

Prove: If x = sup S, show that, for each e>0, there is a E S such that x - e < a (

Cauchy

Prove that every cauchy sequence is bounded

Prove : If k, m, and n are natural numbers and m+k=n+k, then m=n.

Theorem 15 If k, m, and n are natural numbers and m + k = n + k, then m = n.

Prove : If k, m, and n are natural numbers and m+k>n+k, then m>n.

Theorem 17 : If k, m, and n are natural numbers and m + k > n + k, then m > n.

Limit theorems

Show that the following sequences are not convergent i) (2^n) ii) (((-1)^(n))n^2)) that is negative 1 to the n times n squared Show that if X(sub n) is greater than or equal to zero for all n element N and lim(X(sub n))=0 then the lim(sqrtX(sub n))=0
