4Ohms/(4Ohms+8Ohms)*12V=4/12*12V=4V

Additionally:

What is the voltage V?
My Answer:
I=12/[(16*8)/(16+8)+(4*8)/(4+8)]=12/(5.33+2.66)=12/8=1.5A
V=1.5A*[4/(4+8)+16/(8+16)]
1.5A*(.3333+.6667)=
1.5A*1Ohm=1.5V
Final answer: 1.5V
