Calculate the pH of each of the following solutions:
(a) 0.0010 M HCL
(b) 0.76 M KOH

15.19) Calculate the Hydrogen ion concentration in mol/L for solutions with the following pH values:
(a) 2.42
pH=-log[H+]
2.42=-log[H+]
[H+]=10-2.42=3.8x10-3M(mol/L)

(b) 11.21
11.21=-log[H+]
[H+]=10-11.21=6.8x10-12M

(c) 6.96
6.96=-log[H+]
[H+]=10-6.96=1.1x10-7M

(d) 15.00
15.00=-log[H+]
[H+]=10-15=1.0x10-15M
