This website would be beneficial to me as a teacher because it has a section on developing personal goals. This was informative, but also offers a reminder to myself, as an educator. One of the most important factors in classroom management is that we focus on our relationship with students and our commitment to providing quality teaching every day. A principles pyramid was introduced which were areas I am familiar with on a daily basis, but the pyramid gave a visual which reaffirmed my beliefs as a teacher. Understanding that students need their teacher's appreciation, constantly allowing students to have choice and develop self awareness develops students who open doors to improved growth. I will print this pyramid from this website. It will have a special place on my desk to visually remind me every day of the importance of my students and their feelings. All teachers experience burn out and need to be reminded of their student's needs.
