The governing body of the City of Bradenton incurs various expenditures on the public administration and management of the city. The annual expenditure in absolute terms for many sectors has shown an increase, but in relative terms, the percentage has shown a decrease, for example, the share of personnel services has declined from 34.5% in 2007 to 31.5% in 2008 of the total budgeted expenditure.
